about

This track has featured in a few TV series; "The Middle", "Eastwick" and "Saving Grace"... Co written with Logan Wilson and featuring Tony Rico on Sax (Bad Manners), I've had a few requests for this track so decided to release it as a single. Ska fun!

lyrics

Roll up, roll up, fattest man dem in da world!

Brother Tony with the tenor saxophone,
He's just a shy boy smoking in the morning sun.
He's getting tied up in the Sachmo melodies,
Blowin' time, time, time until it's done, done, done.

His Helen tells him that he's got to keep it cool,
'Cause when the sun goes down there'll be fools around.
Save your fingers and you've got to save your face,
If you want to win the human race!

So now he drinks tequila in the smoky bar,
He makes his money playing in the fat man's band.
So many promises, he's going to go so far,
But all the good stuff's coming from the fat man's hand!

His Helen tells him that he's got to keep it cool,
'Cause when the sun goes down there'll be freaks around.
Save your fingers and you've got to save your face,
'Cause there won't be winners in the human race.

He makes his promises, he'll only go so far,
But then he needs the money for the homely things.
Just one more festival, just one more atta bar,
Because the show's not over 'til the fat man sings!

Yeah, you da fat man! My mum told me about people like you!
